The Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940 (fin. Talvisota — the Winter war, swedish. vinterkriget) — the third armed conflict between Soviet Union and Finland since 30 November 1939 to 12 March 1940.
A short, but bloody, this war has broken many human destinies on both sides. The forests and swamps of the Karelian isthmus to this day keep a huge amount of evidence of these events.
